A deep reaching root, Ashwagandha is a traditional Ayurvedic remedy to restore a burnt out nervous system. Meaning “strength of a horse” in Sanskrit, this pungent, aromatic root is meant to rebuild through aiding deep, restful sleep and balancing nervousness. Also known as "Indian Ginseng".

How To Use: Add 1 teaspoon roots per 8 oz cup of water in a small pot, bring to a boil and then turn down to a simmer for 10 - 20 minutes. Strain and drink warm with bit of coconut oil, or let cool and keep in the refrigerator. Excellent with added spices such as cinnamon, ginger and turmeric - try adding our turmeric bitters to your cup.
