Neighborhood Foods (NF) Farm Shiso Tea blend is comprised Shiso, lemon verbena and sunflower leaves - pungent, aromatic, warming herbs that boosts the immune system, treat colds, fevers, supports in lung repair and aides in digestion. It supports overall gut health thus providing mental clarity.
Shiso has a strong citrus, cinnamon, anise qualities. Shiso contains high levels of vitamin C,A & K and several B-complex vitamins. Shiso helps to strengthen the immune system and the health of your skin. Lemon verbena has a long historical use in traditional medicine for treating colds, fever, anxiety, indigestion, spasms, and insomnia. Sunflower leaves act an astringent, diuretic, and expectorant and is used in treatment of high fevers.

How To Use: Use 2 tablespoon per 8 oz cup of just boiled water; let steep at least 10 - 20 minutes, and strain. Drink warm or over ice, and don't forget to add your favorite elixir or tonic! For a pot, use 1/4 cup per quart of water.

After significant remediation, NF farm is now a fully functioning ¾ acre urban vegetable, herb and medicinal farm where we utilize all sustainable growing practices.
