Deeply soothing with a mild oat flavor — milky oats are oat tops harvested when they are unripe and their "milky" latex exudes from the seed. Milky oat tops are a helpful herb to smooth out frazzled nerve endings, restore flexibility to your nerves, and build a calm strength within. Our oats are harvested and processed on our herb farm without the presence of wheat or added gluten.

How To Use: Use 1 - 2 tablespoons per 8 oz cup of just boiled water. Milky oats are best extracted in a long steep — many hours or overnight is ideal to get the best flavor and mineral content out of your oats. Drink warm or over ice, and don't forget to add your favorite elixir or tonic! For a pot, use 1/4 cup per quart of water.
